Our story
Building software that matters — from Canada to the world
Zero-Yield Latency Utility was founded in Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostkawith a simple belief: Canadian companies deserve world-class software partners who speak plainly, deliver on time, and stay for the long haul.

Who we are
Zero-Yield Latency Utility is a private software development company specializing in building custom applications for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. We’ve grown from a four-person startup in a coworking space into a team of designers, engineers, and product managers serving clients across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
We’re not a company that just hires people. Behind every project is a dedicated team that includes a technical lead, a designer, and a project manager who are well-versed in your industry—whether it’s logistics, healthcare, fintech, or consumer lifestyle.
What drives us
Our core values
Craft over shortcuts
We write maintainable code, document decisions, and leave systems better than we found them. Technical debt is managed openly, not hidden.
Honesty in communication
If a timeline is at risk, you hear it early — with options, not excuses. We believe trust is built through transparency.
User-centered thinking
Features exist to solve real problems. We validate assumptions with research and metrics, not opinions alone.
Sustainable pace
Crunch culture produces bugs. We plan realistic sprints so our team and your product both stay healthy over years.
